Wow, wow! just wow… week one is in the books! So since I didn’t get a good number right at the start of my plan I’m stuck at using a previous number for my weight. So in the week before I was in a very down mood and thinking all about how terrible I was and would never change and hit, oh.. 340. Ashamed that it’s not my highest but oh well. That’s the past, it’s gone, it’s goodbye, and I’m a new girl already!
So what is it looking like right now? Well, if you peeked at my ticker on the about me page that I posted.. I’m down to 325.8, woot! It’s actually coming off, even with cake day in there. I can almost taste my first 5% goal… 323And it tastes good. 299 feels not too far around the bend and I know I’ll hit it before the year is up for sure.
Tonight for my birthday after meal MF meal (which I call desserts, hehe), I blended up a nice soft serve chocolate mint thingie and it was very yummy. The food is actually pretty good if your sense of taste isn’t too marred by salt. And seriously people, lay off the salt already, MF keeps you from 1000-1500mg sodium and is super heart healthy, just do the program and only add spices, not salty stuff. Trust me!
So how do I feel 1 week in? I feel good, full of energy, I even ran up a flight of stairs, which is odd for me. I was a lil out of breath but no more than usual, just felt weird to have such energy and I know how little calories I’m eating.
Oh well, it’s working and I will continue to do it until my weight is gone. I’m in it until the finish line. And then, well, I’ll transition to healthy eating (which is being helped out in the learning department by my lean & green meals).
so, yay me! now back to this genetics reading…..
